Primroses come in a wide variety of colors, shapes, environments and sizes. Here are a few different types. I am starting this early (I normally start this on Sunday) but, my wrist is feeling better and I will be on the road on Sunday. Please pile on with any flowers you would like. See you in a week and a half.
Arctic Primroses are found in boreal climates, even those that are isolated remnants of glacial conditions. They can grow in small cracks with as little as a teaspoon of soil.
Desert Primroses provide spectacular displays in deserts during springs in which sufficient rainfall has occurred during the previous winter and spring months.
Mexican Primroses can be found in semi-arid climates like Texas and Mexico.
Brown-eyed Primroses are found in desert climates after wet winters and springs. These are from Death Valley and occur here with Desert Verbena.
