we were out of the Yellowstone park for over a month just got back and was treated to one of my favorite bears - fairly close and my 200-800 really did a good job - she was eating a bunch of berries so her tongue was colorful

Really cool images of this critter.

She must have an armor plated tongue to use it stripping off those berries. I have destroyed pant legs trying to walk through berry patches like that.

My favorites of these is #2 and 4. Spending a month in Yellowstone sounds great! Did you have your RV in the park, or did you have to camp outside of it?

we stay about 10 miles outside of Gardiner our RV is too big for any of Yellowstone RV spots

Very nice. I saw her this spring and got some photos but they weren’t very good. Had much better luck shooting 399 and Spirit in Grand Teton on the same trip.
