It was A-Mazing

As I was thinking about getting a drone, one of the things that I thought would be cool to capture with it was patterns. As as fall was approaching and I now had a drone, I was thinking that corn mazes would be A-Mazing to capture. Not only would there be the patterns of the rows of corn, but you would have the maze running through it.

I won't say where this was taken, other then in Colorado. Of course it's now into November, so I don't think any of the corn mazes are being used, but still I didn't want to be responsible for anyone picking up and pointers on how to get through the maze.

I see what you did here. 🤓

I am always intrigued by drone images and this one is no exception but since 95% of my subject matter is in National Parks and other NPS properties and drones are not allowed, a drone would be a waste of money for me. 😭

Thanks Rick! :)

Yeah, you can't use them in NP's, and that's okay I think as they get too much traffic and I remember in the early days of drones being really irritated by drones flying all over and people operating them with no care about other people. It really turned me off from drones, and has taken quite a few years for me to get over that stigma. Seeing the work that @Jim Dockery @Jeffrey and others is what really got me to thinking about their possibilities.

As awesome as National Parks are, there is a real huge area of our country that isn't a National Park. So for me, since I already am out where ever the beauty of nature calls me, I have lot's of opportunities to fly the drones. Well... except in SoCal where I think the whole lower half of the state has banned drones.... But once I get out of California, the possibilities are almost endless. :)
