IR Hotspots

Is this an example of the hotspot when shooting IR? Pretty much in the center of the image. It was shot mid day away from the sun.

I will look at this closer on my other monitor, but all of my hotspots were usually in the middle like this. Most of mine were brighter then the rest of the shot and had a color cast to them.

Jameel it's really hard to tell in this image, if there is one it's not much of one. Yes, hot spots tend to be in the center of the image and like Jim said they are markably lighter with a off color to them. Hot spots usually coincide with your wider angle lenses 12-24mm mostly. Ways to get around them are to open up your aperture to lower than f/8, or use some kind of reflector.

Is this straight out of the camera Jameel? What were your settings? There is some discoloration for sure in the center.

Not straight out of camera since that would be a very red image. It also includes blue and red channel swaps. I know this is not a good candidate. to figure this out I started a different thread with the same image shot at multiple apertures.
