I hoped to do that, Jim! I'm always aware that place names have a different context where you are and it can lead to some fun. Both Sierras have always been there of course - but our's is the oldest! :-D The city is beautiful, particularly in the old quarter below the Alhambra with it's steep hills and winding streets. You fooled me Martin! When I see Sierra Nevada, my mind goes to the mountains here in California.
But what a nice surprise this is, and what a nice city shot this is. I can see where one would fall under her spell.

The food was excellent but in a non-sophisticated wayBeautiful! How was the food?
Glad you like it Anne. The clouds were a lot of what attracted me to the particular shot. These beautiful Spanish cities are often seen under a totally plain blue sky and in Andalucia in general clouds are mainly welcome for relief from the sun!Cool shot and the clouds add a special touch.
Thanks Ben. Glad you enjoyed it! Granada is a beautiful city, as are most in Andalucia.Nice atmospheric shot.
