IC 1848 Deep

I am not certain I needed all this time on target but I like the result of two long nights before the rainy season begins. It was easy to do since everything was set up and on target!

October 13-14
Rasa time = 17.3 hours (346*180s) - RASA f/2.2
Takhashi time = 13.3 hours (46*300 and 57*600s) f/5

I hear that f/2.2 collects light approximately 6 times faster than f/5 since it doubles with every "F-stop." So 17 hours of Rasa Time is worth a lot. As previously mentioned I am not sure I needed all that exposure on this target. Oh well, here it is.

Wow! 17 hours of Rasa is like 100 hours on a regular rig? Or more.... wow. That's crazy to think.

Great result here Andy. I don't think I have imaged this, I need to look this one up. I really like all of the detail you captured. So many bumps and dips, it's a joy to look at.
