Nice rendition on the goal of your comp - the visual line heading into the distance works quite well and the early morning mists make the depth seem infinite. Definitely a bit on the soft side for focus.

. Looking at it on my
Monitor sharpness is much better. Perhaps the resizing by Lightroom and or uploading messed with the image?

Not certain about Lightroom's resizing algorithms - I use Photoshop to resize mine with Bicubic Reduction to 1400 pixels. I add the media to the gallery on this site and then link them to my posts because it results in a sharper image. I think the limit for attached files is 1200 pixels before the site will automatically resize your image and can step on your sharpness.

You used an attached file for your post in this case so you would want to limit your upload to 1200 pixels on the wide side.

I'm looking at it again; the subtle angles are very attractive. I'd consider a crop off the bottom so that the bottom left is at the intersection of the lowest slope. It's a lovely image.

It's certainly a great image as the original, but of course I'm happy with the crop. I think it pulls you in just a little quicker.
