Sweet - The flower is just at peak for its portrait. I like the water surfaces down at the bottom too.

The lily is nicely framed by the pad leaves! Nice light on it.
That is a prime lily, you have yourself a prime image here.

I spent a lot of time with this one, Jim, both during and after photographing it and good specimens are especially hard to find. I was just lucky. I had visited this pond many times and never came away with anything I really liked.Oh wow Doug! How did you manage to catch that? This is so cool, but I must have bad luck with lily pads.

Thanks, Ben. These are hard to get in prime shape. They can be covered with unwanted insects, brown spots, or whatever. This one had just opened that morning.
Douglas, I well know as I used to have a Koi pond where I planted water lilys.
