Hollyhocks

I am in CA right now and I visited the Los Rios District in San Juan Capistrano. There are many cottages with beautiful flower gardens. One of my favorite flowers from childhood was Hollyhocks . During my childhood I would follow them closely from the time they emerged from the ground each spring until they bloomed and set their really neat seed pods. This one was my favorite from the trip.
