Haw Creek

On one of very few trips lately up into the Arkansas Ozarks, I found this section of Haw Creek, being down in a valley, shrouded in fog. And I love foggy conditions!
Two views, looking upstream, showing more of the foggy effects, and beside the little cascade with a nice tree framing the view. Both within 5 minutes of true dawn.

That looks like a tranquil location. Did the fog/mist cause you to have to wipe the front element routinely?

Not too much. I've been in much worse!!
Thanks! and it is always a peaceful location especially in the dawn. The only thing you hear is the gentle burbling of the cascades.

Hey Barry,

What really cool shots here! Your #2 shot kind of reminds me of the Merced River shot from Yosemite that I posted a few weeks back. I guess great minds think a like when it comes to compositions! :)
