There's always the helicopter. Unless there isn't - or the tribe members take up all the spots. OK, there's sometimes a helicopter!Very good Jim, you captured so many drops here it's just amazing. This is one place I really love and wish I were fit enough to get there.
Hey Kyle, there is always the helicopter. It makes multiple flights continually through the day. You might have to wait 30 or 40 mins but you will get a flight.Very nice Jim - you composed a nice looking oasis there!

Thanks Guys, I will need to add this to my bucket list along with White Pocket and Hunts Mesa. The helicopter doesn't fly every day (or at least it didn't, as I learned when I wanted to take it out). I believe they do publish a schedule.
You are correct in the off season it doesn't fly every day, there is a schedule, but the days it flies it will take everyone. During the "in" season it flies every day. My point was Ben could go, and he wouldn't have to worry about not being able to take the helicopter in. Sometimes there is a line and you have to wait a bit, but he would get on.The helicopter doesn't fly every day (or at least it didn't, as I learned when I wanted to take it out). Thanks Alan! Yeah, you definitely need to get back. You might have to schedule a SW tour this year?Very nice. I love the turquoise waters of that place.
I need to try to get back down there someday. All of my shots of that canyon are on 120 slides shot with a Rolleiflex twin lens reflex in the 1960's.
An SW spring trip is a given but I don't think Havasupai would be on the agenda. Thanks Alan! Yeah, you definitely need to get back. You might have to schedule a SW tour this year?
Don't need to be that fit anymore, Ben. Take the helicopter.Very good Jim, you captured so many drops here it's just amazing. This is one place I really love and wish I were fit enough to get there.
Nice image, Jim. Those Monkey Flowers in the foreground intrigue me. Did you try one using them as a foreground emphasis? From a few years back down in Havasu Falls area. Following the creek is so fun, there are so many different compositions. Here is one fun area I spent an hour or two working.
All comments are welcome,
Jim
