Harris's Hawk

Hi All...

This hawk likes to perch in a dead tree in my neighbor's yard, and decided to give me a couple of poses before he flew away.

Two nice shots, hard to get a darker bird like this but you did. I like the first for having the head against clear sky and the second for a more dynamic pose. I have never seen a Harris Hawk in the wild.
