A few days ago in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, after I was done with the morning timelapses and I had thawed my fingers out a bit, I went out with my D7100 IR camera and captured this scene from the Teton Point Overlook. I thought the scattered trees would turn out great in IR, and they did.
This is a 590nm IR that is channel swapped.
One thing with landscape IR that is taking me a bit to get used to is the soft edges that IR brings in. At least at this point in my IR journey I don't know how to make the edges sharper, other then shooting wider then needed and then cropping. It also doesn't seem to always do it, so that can make it a bit hard. I liked this composition as it was, and I couldn't shoot any wider so I just have to come to accept the slightly softer edges.
All comments are welcome,
Jim
