These people had walked off the trail down to a cool point for some poses on the edge. I was on another point (behind a rail) and shot them. IMHO the tiny figure makes the shot.

I agree Jim, the person does add a lot of scale to this and really helps make it work. It also helps that you were at a cool spot in the Canyon.

That is a really neat image, Jim. It looks scary. I recognized this as being shot from Mather Point. Lots of people do stupid stuff there including going well beyond the fence boundaries and getting themselves killed..

I found myself getting very worried about many people I saw too close to the edges there Douglas. I don't think many of them realize how easy it is to slip/trip or how fragile sandstone can be. When you are on a climb the danger is obvious and you take care and precaution to mitigate it, but walking along near a cliff many people seem oblivious.

WOW. Beautiful shot for scale but agree with Douglas and Jim that this is how people get themselves killed in the GC.

Great shot Jim and well seen the person adds great scale as others have said. It is amazing how many people end up dying at the canyon every year due to sheer stupidity...however the shots do look good on Instagram .

Beautiful shot, Jim, and yes the people add scale If I might I offer a suggestion, would you consider cropping the bottom of the image slightly, just under that "tooth" shaped as a Easter Island face? I think that would strengthen the composition even more. Just my .02 of course. Best regards,
