This weeks Friday's Focus will be Landscapes that include Wildlife.

The intent is not for wildlife photos, but photos where the wildlife are merely an element in the landscape.

For me, this is a tougher one as I rarely come across wildlife in the first place, but I do have a few that I can start this with.

Now I know why it took you so long to get this thread going. You're making it tougher and tougher for me to find appropriate images each week. I thought about putting this one in because these flowers are called MULES EARS. But I didn't think I could get away with that.

So here are a few images from Bosque del Apache that include the landscape.

Nice ones Douglas. The second one is my favorite.

I thought the mule's ears were a pretty innovative response :D

That's really nice, Jameel. I couldn't find any animals for a long time but eventually found the cow. I think it qualifies.

I was fortunate to be a landscape photographer on an African safari. Most everyone in the group was interested in closeups of the creatures, and I did a lot of that. But I wanted to see the animals in their environments. I recently posted my award winning zebra/acacia image on another thread here, so I will show some others from my trip to Tanzania. Enjoy!
