Hey Jameel, great work here! I have actually shot that area also. I always liked the S curves going on, and just finding any water in DV is usually such a novelty it was fun to shoot. Glad to see I am not the only one who liked that area.Outstanding images so far. Here is my contribution - something a little off the beaten track.

Outstanding!
I love the contrast in this image - very nice. The sole focus on the lake bed and the stone is a nice change from most of the shots I have seen from there.Guess where?!
The far rock is winning.....A little something from the Racetrack...
Hey Monika, Love those flowers! On my way to Yosemite in 2016, I hit the superbloom, too. I was heading to Ashford Mill (where reports had the greatest density), but the sun was sinking as I passed the southern egress to the West Side Road. I pulled over & jumped out with my gear. After spending so much time in Iceland, it felt very strange to be out shooting comfortably in just blue jeans, aloha shirt & shoes! No howling wind or rain.... just warm and dry.

The first light on the dunes is so sweet.I'm late to the party, but here's one of the dunes at first light.View attachment 4015
Thanks, Jim for pointing out the LRC blob. That happens with the "not a keeper" files...Hey Monika, Love those flowers!
I bet the difference had to be kind of mind boggling to go from Iceland to Hotland...
PS. you have something in the lower right corner.
Another Sherman masterpiece!Another from the "Super Bloom" of 2016. This was taken near Jubilee Pass. The flowers are Desert Gold Sunflowers and Sand Verbena.

Nice Jim. I always have liked Artists Palette as the colors there are just so varied! You got some nice color in the rocks in the last shot too.Great thread with some outstanding pictures so far. Since I didn't see a rule to post only one I've taken the liberty of contributing a few of my favorites from my only visit a couple years ago.
