Friday's Focus - Arches National Park

Jameel, I really like both of those, but the first is special since it isn’t one of the iconic arches - the tiny red cloud makes it for me - so subtle it’s barely noticeable on first glance.

You are correct about thunderstorms - the air was highly unstable and I got some neat storm cells that same day there. I believe this was on the trail that goes to Delicate Arch. Here are a couple more images from that same day in Arches I had in my gallery from earlier posts showing more storm cells:

Enjoyable series, a lot of great views. I really enjoy the color and burst in the opener, Jim. Doug, great color on the sunrise shot through the Window to Turret. Kyle, love the winter scene. Kyle the b/w of the underside is superb. Jameel, super angle on the isolated arch, and Monika, that's a grand scene with the eclipse.

I'll add a sunrise through the South Window to Turret, and a winter sunset at Delicate.

Nice Set Bart. The delicate arch has great light and the snow in the distance and clear view of the LaSal mountains stands out.

Great shots on this page so far - great light and clouds on those Bart and like Alan says the La Sals are very crisp. Monsoon season takes the cake though Craig!
