Friday's Focus - 2019/05/31 - National Monuments

The Focus this Friday is on National Monuments, not our National Parks but a National Monument. I don't know if in the UK there is a similar designation, but here in the US we have 129 Monuments that aren't quite National Parks. Sometimes the National Monuments can later become National Parks like Joshua Tree.

This is Stirling Old Bridge with the National Wallace Monument on the far right hand edge. William Wallace won a battle here against the English in 1297. I lived here, went to University and was married here and despite this it remains my favourite town in Scotland. Ken
