Fresh as a Daisy

In Old English, people called daisies "day's eye" because the petals close at night and open with the morning sun.

This wild flower was found along the Oregon Coast, I thought it looked the prettiest of all the examples I had to choose from to photograph.

I usually shoot blooms in color but this one works quite well as a B&W.

Thanks Guys! I've been trying to find more scenes with high subject contrast as opposed to high lighting contrast. I am liking how these kinds of images convert to b+w.

That is an amazing image Michael. When i stare straight at the centre of the flower I can see moving swirling lines...Remarkable.
