thanks alan. i think the mother found the vole and hid it in the ground for the kits to find later. the kit dug for a second or two and pulled it out.

thanks jim. i crouched down to get on eye level with the kits. the foreground grass was just some extra bonus points. the fox kits are little hams when they have an audience.
