Happy Mother's Day, a field of white Trillium just outside of town this morning:

And for everyone else, spring in the Southern Adirondacks a 1/2 hour away, was interrupted yesterday by sudden snowstorm; I caught an early part of it, before it suppressed the spring color.

And on the way back, stopped at camp, where earlier in the week I was recording the brown peepers from the Lean=to.

Maybe the late snow will suppress the bug season a little.

Amazing collection of trilliums. We just patches with a handful to shoot at once in the PNW. Refreshing to see the snow in #2 - I like the view of the stream with hints of spring hiding behind the light coat of white. We hit high 80's today in Vancouver. I am not ready for summer yet and that scene looks really inviting to me at the moment.

Bart, great capture on the Trillum and of course a beautiful ADK image, the snow adds so much here. This is my first look at the camp with the lake .. Beautiful enjoy!
