Kyle, thanks for the kind words and thanks for all that you do to help out here.
These are great photos, no way to really pick a favorite. I see a reminder that I need to get up to Banff for those ice bubbles, and the reminder of an upcoming trip to New Zealand.
Not easy to pick out the ones I like best from all I have posted but here's a few that stood out for me.

It had been while since I had posted images on the internet when Jim first sent out invitations to join FocalWorld and I had a quite a number of images I had never processed so this was a fun opportunity to jump back into being online with my photography once again.
Thanks to Jim for having the ambition to start up a new photo web forum so all of us could have a nice sandbox to play in

Congratulations Jim Fox! I certainly do enjoy it here. I am out on a photo journey just as I was last year at this time and why I did not sign up on day one. I really enjoy this very kind and tight community, each member having a unique vision and something special to contribute in each thread. I am on the side of a mountain now but have cell service. I will be able to post up my past years favorites sometime this weekend. Jim, I don’t know anyone who works harder than you and who is so devoted to this place. You have done an outstanding job and have a wonderful piece of software here as well. Thanks for having me and I hope that I have made some valuable contributions.

Thanks so much Jim for your kind words!Thank you for your vision Jim & all your work other helpers! This is a pleasant little web space, that feels more like a family than many larger sites most of us have participated in. The photos already posted on this page are testimony of the quality to be found here too! I hadn't seen that Tuolumne Meadows Moon Set shot yet Jim - fantastic - I agree that's one of your best.
I'm getting deeper into black and white over the years now that digital conversion makes it so easy. I often feel like it distills a picture down to it's essence, taking it into the fine art realm.

Skiing on Denali. As a climber/skier I seem to include people in my landscapes more than others on this site.
Climbing The Black Ice - West Face combo on The Grand Teton, 1979. I enjoy reliving my past by scanning old slides then converting them to B&W. (BTW I can't believe he isn't wearing a helmet!)
Sea Turtle, Maui. Using a little digital powerhouse like my RX100 in a simple underwater housing enabled me to shoot hundreds of shots a day, then toss out the majority of bad ones and process only the keepers.
You are a huge part Jim of making FocalWorld what it is. You have a great attitude and you consistently are posting images that are a totally different view of the world then the rest of us. It's awesome having you here!
Ben, I am so glad you did join up here, and also accepted my request to be on the staff. You also a huge part of what makes FocalWorld tick. You are so welcoming, and so helpful. Thanks again for all that you do.

I dont have any real favorites, I do more of documentary type shooting then grand vistas, but I feel like this year I can grow a lot from seeing all the cool stuff everyone posts here ! This forum is really neat and I love that someone reached out and plugged it to me when I was looking through other forums... I dont remember who it was, but thank you !! And thanks for your warm welcome.... Heres a few of the more memorable shots from 2018, but I've got another hundred or so that were keepers that I haven't even processed yet !!

Great range of images Jim. You and the others that post here are not lucky to be able to get to so many locations. You all have worked hard and paved a career path that has allowed you to be at them. Well done.
