Flowers of Florence

A couple of blooms I spotted while wandering around the town of Florence on the Oregon coast last week. I have no idea what kind of flowers either of these are - I just enjoyed their colors and shapes.

I can't take all that much credit for the capture beyond pointing the lens at the flower. These blooms were right in a traffic island next to the campground office where I was staying in Florence and taken with an iPhone 13 Pro. The only real twist was that the capture had so much detail I had to employ Doug's technique for isolating the blooms to keep the rest of the frame from being a distraction.

This what the frame looked like without blurring out the background and I am still astonished at how much depth of focus that stupid phone can capture. I have done similar things with my DSLRs but with a lot more work and focus stacks. It almost doesn't seem fair my phone can do this - I feel like I should have to work for this kind of closeup.
