Cacti have some of the most beautiful flowers you will ever see in the field. I hope you have some beauties to share.

Here is some good advice from a cactus.

We have snowdrops and crocus coming up in the garden. Unfortunately we also have 50mph winds and driving wet snow so new flower images will need to wait. Hawthorn blossom and bluebells. Ken

Jim this year we have had 2 storms with winds gusting to more than 80mph with 3 dead from trees falling and thousands of homes without electricity with power lines down. In NW Scotland 50mph winds would be a weekly winter occurrence and 100mph gusts although not usual aren't unknown. I am off to Northern Scotland late next week and the forecast is good with lots of sunshine with overnight frosts and no rain/ snow and light winds from the West. I will be on the coast and am looking forward to beach shots. Ken
