Fall Variety in the Adirondacks, NY

Oh my - that does stimulate the appetite a bit. The second and last shots keep me coming back given their more dominant color shows. The second one is nice for the layers of colors top to bottom but the last one teases a far more radical color show hiding behind the mist.

Hey Bart,

These are really nice! #4 is my favorite, but I love the read color in these.

Can you go into the Fall Color Update thread at the top of Landscape Forum and add an update for your area? Add a couple o iPhone snapshots if you have them too.

Thanks,
Jim

Good stuff, Bart. Looks as if you'll get a good fall. I like the reds on show in this area very much. The colour through the mist in the last one is amazing!

Nice Images ! Looks like the show is fairly far along should be peaking soon.
#4 is really sweet.

On my phone I liked the 2nd best, but on a larger monitor I really like #4. Nicely moody yet still colorful!

Really lovely works, Bart! I like them all but I too keep coming back to the 2nd and 4th as my favorites, but only by a small margin. You know I'd like the Misty Sunrise!

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated. Fall seemed to get an early start here, then stalled as it got very hot and dry, and we're still in that stretch. I'm going to comb the Adirondacks and high peaks on a fast run this weekend to see what's going on further north. Jim, then I'll post on the Fall Color site.
