A closeup of some of the fall colors at Multnomah Falls. A single shot using a 166mm lens from out over the Columbia River.
C&C always welcome.

Thanks Sunny - this fall has shown me colors I didn't think was possible up here. It was a good season to stay close to home to shoot.Goodmorning Alan,
I like this one very much. The moss on the wall, beautifully captured water..and those colors finish it off.
Thanks Jim - the 166mm lens is fun to shoot with but you wouldn't want to fly with it. Think of trying to drive somewhere with binoculars strapped over your eyes - you have no peripheral vision at all.Man, that 166mm lens is making me drool just a bit! I wish they made a Mini 4 Pro version with just the 166mm lens.![]()
Thanks Doug - I have been shooting these falls for 25 years now and have never seen it like this either. I should point out that the view from ground level never includes these trees and vegetation in the first place as they are behind the viewer on the ground.Really nice, Alan. I have never seen such beautiful color at Multnomah Falls.
I didn't think about that, it makes total sense. For the convenience I will stick with the Mini then. At least for now. Thanks Jim - the 166mm lens is fun to shoot with but you wouldn't want to fly with it. I think the 70mm lens is the real gem with the Mavic 3 Pro and probably use it as much or more than the primary 24mm lens. The Air 3 is the sweet spot for photographers with dual cameras and the same 70mm lens/sensor as the Mavic 3 Pro.
Thanks - single shot 1/80s f/3.4@ISO100. I took a 7 shot burst but liked this better as a single.Nice foreground for the falls. Is it a single shot over average using a burst - nice shutter speed in any case.
