Evening Reflections

A sunset panorama of Mt. Rainier overlooking Reflection Lakes from last Fall. Three panels shot using the shift mode of a 24mm Tilt-Shift lens. @Jameel Hyder found a spot just below the parking lot wall that had really nice calm water for excellent reflections but by the time I wandered down there he had already collected most of the color on his memory card and I had to settle for what was left. Best viewed on a large monitor.

Even without color in the sky this is still a beautiful scene. I like what you got.

It's funny that most times I have captured Reflection Lake it's frozen over.

Thanks Jim - I don't think I have been up at these lakes with snow/ice on the ground. That would certainly be an interesting changeup from a view like this one.

My apologies Alan. I had accidentally turned on the color suction setting on the camera. Luckily I turned it off when you came down otherwise you would have had a complete monochrome image :)

Thanks Jameel - I am of course very grateful you didn't leave me with a completely monochrome scene :p
