Evening Light Over Mt. St. Helens

We had an interesting sunset last evening so I sent my drone up for a better view of the scene. This is looking in the direction of Mt. St. Helens. Click through for a larger view.

Thanks Michael - we get a lot of low level clouds that come up the Columbia River as the river is only about 10' above mean sea level at Portland. I usually think of them as low level clouds but that's pretty much the definition of a marine layer in the first place.

Thanks Jim - The main color show was to the west - more images are coming.

Thanks Jameel - I think the marine layer is confined to the low clouds at the base of the slope on the left. There was a much bigger set of colors in the clouds at a higher altitude and this was mostly reflected colors.
