The Day Lilies in our backyard do a daily interpretive dance that goes from peek a boo to full exposure as they get morning sun. Nikon Z5 with Laowa 85mm 2X macro.

Thanks Alan, I am trying out hand held focus stacking. Three images combined for the first image above and four images on the second one. I am finding it quite difficult to hold still when shooting up close, especially with knees bent and leaning closer to the subject. Also the slightest breeze moves the flowers, so I got many rejects along with a few keepers.

Absolutely stunning work Michael. I totally agree with the difficulties of holding for focus bracketing. Are you stacking in camera or using software?

Thanks Trent! I'm using Photoshop to stack layers. I had no idea you could stack in camera. I'll have to look into that.

My OM System does have in-camera stacking but you are limited to 15 images. I was using Photoshop and recently purchased Helicon Focus and find it so much easier than Photoshop for the majority of the stacking I do.

That's cool to see how much it changed during the day. I like them both, though I think #1 is my favorite.
