Edging Closer to Fall.

Like many others here, I can't wait until fall with its cooler temperatures and brighter colors. This image is from a small grove of Aspens at McClure Pass in CO a few years back.

This is a great teaser Doug for fall colors! I really like this one how it shows the trunks of the aspens but doesn't show the aspen leaves but has the ferns being the fall color. Very nice!

And as another teaser, from reports so far in Colorado it looks like fall color may be happening sooner then normal.

This was the only patch around. All of the rest had already turned brown. I found it in a small loop just off of the main highway at McClure Pass.
