Eclipse Sequence

Here's my take on the transition from full sun to total eclipse during Monday's event from Corvallis. Obviously there are lots of ways to present this, but for the moment I like the simple linear version.

Excellent work! I like the linear display I think the best, so I like this. You really nailed this.

What length lens were you using on this? I need to start getting my gear ready so I don't miss the next full eclipse in 2024...

Thanks Jim - I used a 100-400 lens (at 400 obviously) and a 2x extender so overall 800mm on a full frame (5DSR) camera. For what I wanted, the length seemed right.

Hey Kyle,

The detail you got in the corona is well done. I think I lost some detail to smoke in the mountains. My wife was shooting with a similar set up to you while I went wide.
