Eastern Sierra

Made it up to the Eastern Sierra last week with my wife. It really wasn't a photography trip but of course I took my camera. We made the 10 mile round trip hike up to the top of Kearsarge Pass. Here's a few from the trail. Flower Lake, Heart Lake and some wild flowers that caught my eye.

Beautiful scenery. I do like the wildflower comp but the other images are just as nice.
Thanks Alan. Not the best light at mid day but I tried to work with what I had. So beautiful up there right now and still tons of snow on the trail. The wild flowers were few and far between.

Awesome work with these Brandon! What a cool experience to go hiking up there and it’s awesome that your wife went along with.

All 3 of these are really cool, the nice thing about the higher altitude is the light doesn’t feel as harsh at midday. My favorite is #2, though I do like the flower in #1 a lot too.

Beautiful, I recall hiking up there as an overnight destination about 50 years ago, pretty good hike for a day hike.

Nice shots from a beautiful location - image with flowers and the overhead shot of the lake are my favorites!

All of these are nice but I really like the stark contrast that the wildflowers bring to the scene in #1
