I had to chuckle at the irony of this specimen in the Railroad Museum in Laws. It is quite well preserved but I suspect that this is related to how short a lifespan this wagon had since its a horse drawn tanker delivering the same product that would eliminate the need for this carriage.

Pretty sturdy looking undercarriage and wheels. I wonder how many animals it took to pull that thing when full. Nice image.

I am not sure I would want to drive that tanker.... Your butt is sitting right on the tank? It would feel like I was sitting on a stick of dynamite... :eek:
