Duck for Breakfast

While exploring the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday morning, we saw a bald eagle that seemed to be carrying something. I quickly pointed my camera in its direction and fired off some shots hoping to get something. Fortunately the one sharp frame I got included the wings in a decent position and I could see it had caught a duck.

It landed nearby to eat and was soon joined by another eagle (I assume its mate). I didn't have a clear view through the bushes on the ground but I thought the sequence was interesting. Any thoughts are welcome.

Quick reflexes Kyle! You got a sharp shot, that's awesome. I know how hard that can be to spot a bird, swing the camera, and get it to focus while you are panning and hoping it's all still sharp. And a very nice sequence on the ground.
