Dog Canyon - BBNP

Skipping ahead to my 3rd visit to BBNP along with my wife. On this day, we hiked into Dog Canyon What an interesting little canyon! The wind became so strong as it funnelled through here that you could literally lean back and have the wind hold you up. Processed these at the time as B&W and believe it works on these 3 images. 5dmkii, 17-40L and LR.

What a very cool canyon Jon. #1 is my favorite. With #3, could you darken the background sky in it a tad? It might help separate the Cliff from the clouds a bit.

B&W works quite well for these captures. The second image keeps me scrolling back for another look. Neat looking place.
Thank you :) It is a neat place.

I can't decide between 1 and 2 myself. As for 3, if I can locate my raw files for this, I may go back and rework. I lost a bunch of my archives. Thankfully, I have the full rez jpeg's on my website. On a positive note, I located and repaired an old drive from my days of shooting with the old 20d in the clubs of nashville. I thought they were long gone. I am going to rework them as there are some of the greats playing in side bands in small venues.
