Wow, that is stunning, and a great example of not including anything that didn’t need to be in the composition. The colors and minimalist comp really make this a truly powerful image IMHO. Hope this is hanging on a wall somewhere!?!?

Not a big deal either way, but I for one prefer the originally posted crop. I like the way the darker cloud filament at the top left is mimicked in the dark shadows on the sand at the bottom of the frame...
