Image from a slide shot in 1978 and scanned recently. This was taken with a Leicaflex SL and a 90mm Leica lens. Shot using Kodachrome 25.
As you can see this was taken back when there wasn't a ton of sight seers crowding the scene. Ah, the good old days! ;)

This now is some great quality! I have to say that with a lot of my old film when I look back on it, I shiver at how bad of quality it was. But this one of yours, it is really great Larry. If you had said you shot this in March with your current digital camera, you would have fooled me, because it looks fantastic!

Great shot to yank out of your stash - I like the snowy backdrop and puffy clouds.
Thanks Alan; I need to find another company to scan my files, the company I previously used has gone out of business. I have tons of slides and negatives in 35 mm and 2 1/4 format that need to be scanned, and some of them are really good (modest me!). ;)

Thanks Jim for the nice comments, appreciated. ;)

Back in 1976 I switched from Nikon SLR to Leica SLR because the Leica lens quality was superior. I won't go into all the details about testing that I did at that time, suffices to say the Leica was better in all tests. I sold my Nikon and 4 lenses and bought a Leicaflex and 2 lenses with the proceeds! ;) Some of what you see in this image is a testament to Leica lenses, in my opinion!

My wife talked me into going up to Delicate Arch and in retrospect I am glad she, did we had the view almost to ourselves; an impossible task these days! :(
