A few years ago I took an early drive through Red Rock Park looking for landscape or flower shots. I stopped my car at one of my favorite spots and notices a group of about 15 deer. They were about to cross the road right in front of my car. I grabbed my camera and tele zoom and sat on my front fender and watched them. They moved back from the roadand went back into the brush. I walked up the road in the direction they were moving and they turn back toward my car. I went bak and sat on my fender. About that time another car showed up moving in the opposite direction and stopped. The deer got spooked and started to move across the road one at a time. The deer scurried across the road and went between 2 large red rocks and into another field with tall shrubs. These deer were all does and yearlings.
I guess this was just another one of my lucky days!
