Wow - with the wet conditions that have beset that area this year you got some excellent exposure of the wild colors of DV. My views have always been with very dusty conditions that tend to mute the color contrasts. I'm jealous if you hadn't noticed

You scored Eric! And you hit some of my favorite locations. Artist Palette I think is almost a hidden gem. We just don't see many photos from it, perhaps it's the longer 1 way road that puts some people off, but it's a favorite area of mine. I have spent many nights there shooting the stars and the Milky Way from there.
