Dark energy

Same place and similar composition as the one I posted yesterday but in a B&W treatment I am experimenting with. Would love to get some thoughts on how it speaks to you.

C&C welcome as usual.

B&W from IR is something I want to explore as well. This is just a little dark for my tastes but not by much. Dark skies and dark water are both on my list of desirable results.

I agree, very nice but just a touch dark. I think I would keep the sky and water, but bump the whites just a tad.

Hey Jameel,

I was going to say I really liked this. But then I read the comments about it being too dark, and got confused. Then saw you had replaced the photo. It's usually best to just add the edit and leave the original so that the comments still have context.

I was about to tell Alan and Ben to turn up the brightness on their monitors. :)

So, I do like the mood of this one, it's cool being able to go dark with the blues in IR like this.

Thanks Jim. I had left the older one in there as well. Went to edit the thread and accidently deleted the old one. I had overwritten it on my PC so didn't have that to upload it back.
