In Roadrunner cartoons, Wile E Coyote communicated with signs that display his emotion, such as "In heaven's name What am I doing." But there was a talking Wile E Coyote in a Bugs Bunny cartoon where he pontificates, "Now, don't try to get away! I am more muscular, more cunning, faster, and larger than you are, and I am a genius. Wile is my hero the toughest hombre I have ever watched just look at the number of times he fell off a cliff and buried himself in the ground only to get back up and continue the chase.

Wile E Coyote and the Road Runner were a favorite cartoon for me growing up. In each episode I think it was the anticipation to not just see how the Road Runner would escape, but also to see how Wile E Coyotes scheme would backfire this time.

Great images Eric, especially how he is posing in #1 like he is the King of the Desert. A very scrawny looking version of the King of the Jungle!
