Comet Lemmon in the Snowy Range

Great setting for the comet. I really like this a lot.
Thanks Jameel. I was hoping to find a spot where I could catch the comet with a landscape since I already had closeups, and also do Milky Way timelapses with a cool object, which I did with that overlook tower, and then I wanted to do Deep Space Astro, which I had set up, but as I mentioned previously it was just too windy. So 2 out of 3 in one location isn't too bad.

I captured this a couple of weeks ago up in the Snowy Range in Wyoming. This was captured with my Z8 and Meike 85mm f1.8 lens as part of a series for a timelapse. It's a single image.

ISO 6400
4 secs
f1.8

Jim, this is a stunning image ! I have a Zeiss 85mm too but have always been hesitant to use the lens for astro, you gave me motivation to try it.

Thank you for sharing.

85mm has it's limits, I am running a 4 sec exposure to keep the stars sharp. But yours is a Zeiss, so you ought to try it out.

Thanks!
