Christmas Moon - 2018/12/25

Driving back down from Sacramento last night, I was getting close to LA, around Magic Mountain and saw the moon had risen to the west so I took one of the next exits and stopped for 2 minutes to capture the moon.

Taken with the Tamron 150-600mm G2 and the Nikon D850 in crop mode

Nice exposure and framing, and the less than full moon allows for some nice detail on the terminator. Could just be a wrong impression, hard to say from small images, but the sharpness of this one does not seem quite as high as some others you have taken, perhaps focus or some camera movement (if handheld...)
