The last time I checked the dark wool was almost worthless often costing more to shear than it was sold for. I will ask my daughter who spins her own wool and knows many people in the wool trade. Ken

My barber raises sheep and says that the dark wool is worthless.

Actually, Google says that black wool is very valuable and also the it's worth nothing
