Chepita Lake

I had to run into town to get two new tires put on my truck and then though I would stop by Chepita to shoot some Macro with my new Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens. After shooting for about 3 hours around the pond with the Lensbaby I wanted to shoot some long exposures with my visible light camera, but the only other camera I had was my Rebel T3i IR camera and no tripod (both tripods were in the trunk of my car, I had the truck). So, I went a head and shot some IR images...glad I did, it was perfect conditions for IR. I'm going to head back late this afternoon with my visible light camera and IR 590nm camera and pray for the same conditions.

Have a great Saturday all!

Wow! Super cool Amy! I don't think I have been to Chepita but I want to go there now.

These are both super awesome! I am trying to pick a favorite but am having trouble as there are aspects to both that make them different.

Thanks Jim! Chipeta is one of those places that looks a lot better in photographs, and you have passed it a 100 times going back and forth to the Ridgway area. But it's an awesome place to shoot macro's, I hear the fishing isn't so bad either. :)

Thank for the feature, can't wait for more people to get involved in the IR Forum!
