After Jim Fox's comments on my previous version of this in portrait orientation I went back and found this landscape zoomed in version and processed it today for a tighter view into the distant peaks.

This is a jaw dropping view of these peaks Jim - I love the light angle for this scene and the B&W processing.
Perfect. I like this one much better
Love it!!!! Your other one certainly was great, I would say this equals it for sure. One thing is visually the eye has one focal point in this one. So perhaps technically this one is better? But your other one was certainly creative and perhaps almost an optical illusion on how it felt like 2 separate photos.

Thanks for the comments guys. Not sure which I like better. After processing these I'm pretty happy with the results from that hike.
You had a productive (photographic) outing Jim. Enjoying all your images from that morning.
