Capitol Reef Trip

Hi everyone! My wife and I just got back from our Utah trip. Had some mixed weather and we certainly got muddy. Almost neck deep in water on one of our slot canyon hikes which was pretty gross and cold haha. I found some new spots that I'm super excited to explore more on future trips. I have so much to go through but I figured I'd post some of the noteworthy ones that I was excited to work on.

I like your eye for the compositions and use of the light in this teaser collection of images. Hard to pick favorites out of the set when they are all this good. I look forward to more installments from your trip. Looks like it a highly productive one.

Simply amazing! That's an area many of us have spent time in through the years, so for me at least it was great to see it through your eyes.

That slot water can get very cold, but as you said also very yucky. It's a cringe feeling going in them.

Hard to pick favorites, so many great compositions. The last one, what is that. It almost looks like a drone image, but then it doesn't. Next guess would be some kind of rock, but that doesn't quite feel right either.

Thanks Alan, I'd venture to say this was probably my most productive trip I've ever had for that area for sure. The stars aligned this year : )
Nice job, Jordan. You made the tree look like it’s giving birth to the rainbow. Capitol Reef is a great place and one of the most intense sunrises I’ve seen was there.
Thanks Michael. I've definitely seen some burner sunrises out there as well.

Thanks Jim, yeah I don't think I'll ever get tired of Capitol Reef. So much to explore there and also in the surrounding areas. I end up finding new places every time I'm out there. And yes, the last one is a drone image. I tried to find some spots that were more thinned out than some of the places I've flown before. I got a few nice ones from this spot I think.
Nice set and not the usual views from this area. Nice compositions.
Thank you Jameel, very much appreciated!
