I had a couple of clear nights recently and target the California Nebula (NGC 1499). This is my second attempt at this target.

Redcat 51, asi533mc pro (gain 101, -10C), Star adventure GTi, Asiair plus, guided, EAF.
Optolong L-enhance, 297x180" subs, Calibration frames; darks, flats, bias, Bortle 5+, processed in Pixinisight.

I would say this is a charm! I really need to get back and capture it and process it to get this look. I usually just leave it straight OSC Ha looking. But I do like those orange tones, the wispy blue coming off of it. Very well done!

Thank you. I didn’t like my first processing attempt. Here I used a Forax palette and the script in Pixinisight.

That's an excellent version of this target - love the color palette and the details, lots of fun wispy stuff in there!
