A friend led me to realise that I could capture the comet with the tail in a better orientation if I removed the equatorial wedge from my Seestar and shot in alt-az mode, so I gave that a try last night. Much happier with the framing, but I had a hard time getting rid of star traces in my starless image. Something to keep working on....

This looks super cool James! I am glad you caught it, as it does look really nice.

That's interesting that the orientation would be different in Alt/Az mode vs EQ. I hadn't thought about that. I still need to see if I can capture this guy as I haven't yet.
