Bristlecone Pine on Mt Bross

Kathleen and I went up to Mt Bross to grab a few images of the Bristlecone pine in that area. Just as we arrived at the site a cloud bank dropped over the mountain and enveloped us in a fog that turned the mountain side and trees into a truely magical place. Both images taken with a Leicaflex SL on Panatomic-X film and the digital files processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.

Amazing difference in the focus for these two images. I like the tree in the first image but the focus in the second.
